About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our growing team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality web applications, managing a team of developers, and delivering efficient, scalable solutions using PHP frameworks. You will be involved in the full development cycle from planning and design to deployment, ensuring that all technical requirements and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA to deliver feature-rich solutions.
  • Develop APIs, microservices, and integrate third-party services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following coding standards and practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PHP development, preferably with Laravel, Symfony, or other modern frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
